Event Details
On December 14th, 2024 come experience Payson Parks and Recreation’s 2nd Annual Winter Wonderland and our 35th annual Electric Light Parade. The event will be held at Green Valley Park. There will be fun for all! Kids can enjoy our festive inflatables and games on the lawn. Santa will make an appearance for pictures by the lake from 1:30-5pm. Attendees can enjoy the picnic area after visiting our food vendors. There will also be merchandise vendors on site for those of you looking for the perfect Christmas gifts.
To kick off the holiday lights, our ceremonial Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at 5:30pm at Deming Pioneer Park. Make sure to walk down Main Street afterwards and find a spot for the best Electric Light Parade around! The parade will begin at 6pm and will head down Main Street to the Sawmill Theater. Make sure to keep an eye out for Santa and the Mogollon Monster at the end of the parade!

Vendor Opportunities
We are gladly accepting vendors for this event. If you are interested in being a vendor at a Town of Payson Event, please visit the link before for vendor request form.
A REAL ICE RINK FOR A REAL CHRISTMAS PARTY!
1pm – 5pm
Come out and join us for our real ice skating! Happening from 1pm – 5pm at Green Valley Park. Skate rentals will be available onsite along with vendors and other activities.

Our event will start with a veteran ceremony by the Wreaths Across America organization. During our Winter Wonderland event, we will have food and drinks, inflatables, live music from Sonoran Swing, pictures with Santa, and more!
5:30pm
We will be hosting a ceremonial Christmas Tree Lighting to kick off the holidays. Join us in at Deming Park (in front of the Oxbow Saloon) at 5:30pm.
6pm
Our Annual Electric Light Parade will begin at 6pm heading down Historical Main Street. Join us to watch all the beautiful floats and look for Santa at the end of the parade.
Lights on Main
We’re adding more activities prior to the parade by asking Historic Main Street businesses and organizations to participate in Lights on Main. Businesses are invited to offer interactive, family-oriented events, crafts, music, food, etc. at their store and allow visitors to shop or learn more about their business.
